Although there was no interchange with the LV at
Andreas (the junction was at Lizards Creek), their Pottsville Branch came within yards of L&NE tracks.
The LV branch line closely paralleled the L&NE west of Lizard
Creek Junction as far as West Penn where the L&NE made a northward
